Book reading on the road: Wendell Public Library, Wendell, MA, August 3, 2024
I took my book reading show to Wendell, MA, a small town in Franklin County, MA where I briefly lived during my teen years. The reading was also an opportunity to connect with friends, some of whom I hadn’t seen in decades.

Co-sponsored by the Library and the Somerville Commission on Persons with Disabilities, Commission member and fellow author M. Michael Shaps and I read excerpts from our books and led a robust discussion on best practices for workplace inclusion and ADA workplace protections.

Belmont Library hosted me along with fellow memoirists, Bev Boisseau Stohl and Jean Duffy. We discussed how our publishing and writing journeys were bolstered by the support of our Page Six Writer’s Group. We were introduced by our former writing instructor and indie author, Judah LeBlang, so the evening had a very fun reunion-feel to it.
